More than the finish line

From the arena, to the desk, and everywhere in between.
Raised on her family’s beef cattle farm in rural Ohio, Mary’s perspective on work was forged early. Excellence was never about luck or immediate success, it was a slow-burn commitment to being a good steward of livestock, land, and community.
Where It Started
That foundation shaped how she approaches everything: with patience, responsibility, and a long-term view of success.

Built Through Sport
Mary’s athletic journey began with what she candidly describes as being a mediocre youth athlete. That starting point, however, became the catalyst for a relentless work ethic - one that ultimately carried her to the highest levels of competition, including the USDF Finals, the AQHA World Show, and multiple USAT National Championships.
Her commitment to technical mastery across disciplines became a blueprint not just for sport, but for life. Whether “catch riding” an unfamiliar horse or competing under pressure, she developed the ability to adapt, perform, and find a way to win.

For Mary, her professional and athletic pursuits are not separate lives, but a singular discipline. She structures her days in six-minute intervals: navigating her career by day and training across the five disciplines of the Modern Pentathlon in the time between. Whether in the office or in competition, the same principles apply: preparation, adaptability, and performance under pressure.
